Stampin' Up! Contempo Christmas Cards.

Today and last night were really productive for me craft wise... Last night, after my mid-afternoon nap, I made two more Christmas cards.... I know it still seems early, but it isn't, not really.... we are only 2 and a half months away from Christmas! So, I made two more, the inspiration for these came from Stamping 411's Clean and Simple cards. I loved the simplicity of the cards, but if you've seen my work before, you know I love the Clean and Simple look, I'm not one to overly embellish!
I used three different coloured layers, with Crumb Cake as the bottom layer, than Real Read and finally Whisper White. I then stamped the bauble (Contempo Christmas) on scrap white, cut it out (I now realise it would have been smarter to stamp straight onto the card stock....) then stamped in Old Olive the branch (Always) semi randomly in the corner. The first one has Kiwi Kiss ribbon tied in a bow and attached to the bauble, and the second has some twine wrapped around the white layer, with the bauble made to look like it is hanging from the twine with Stampin' Dimensionals. Both cards have the sentiment (Contempo Christmas) stamped in Basic Black directly on to the white layer, and Old Olive branches on the inside of the card.
I like how they both turned out, have a go at a clean and simple card, they are great for Christmas as you can make a whole bunch in one go!
