Some New Cards

I haven't had much chance to paper craft lately, as it is peak assignment time at uni *sad face* But, I did get to create a few quick cards over this weekend. The first two were made together,
This one uses AC Linen Weave card stock and naked Thickers, Cosmo Cricket Patterned paper and mini alphas. It also uses unbranded cotton thread, white gel pen and vellum. Love the look of the vellum window on this card. It came together so easily.
This second card, uses again, the AC Linen Weave card stock, Thickers, and Cosmo Crickets mini alphas. The patterned paper is one of my new favourites, from October Afternoon. Finished up with a smattering of buttons from my stash, rounded corners and my white gel pen.... I like the look of this one, as it can be either gender... (or i think so anyway)
This next card was made for the 5 things Finally Friday Class over at TwoPeas which this week was to make a card using 5 products that were on your desk. I have a very messy desk at the best of times... it functions as a computer desk, craft desk and study area.... so fairly hectic!
The Five things I used.... were - Kraft card stock, I ALWAYS have some of this floating around my desk! off cut paper scraps from Cosmo Cricket (times two). Grosgrain Ribbon... (this was actually too small for the card so i tied my bow than taped it down on the other side of the card...) and the bling brad. That brad has been on my desk at two different houses.... I needed to use it....! The sentiment and label, come from TwoPeas Digital Designer Kristina Werner's kit Card Frames and Sentiments...
Thanks for looking... have a fabulous day!
