Easter Card

Another Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab, and another gorgeous card to lift (",)
I don't generally do Easter cards, because, in my family it isn't a big deal... we don't give or receive gifts, or eggs. We used to when we were younger, the easter bunny would come, but now we are all older, the gift giving seems a little too commercialised.... anywho...
The trigger for this week came from Alicia Thelin, who showed us this wonderful picture...
This card is going to my mum and dad... just to cheer them up I think....
The Card stock is Kraft, while the 'eggs' are from the Grant Archival card stock stack. I used Hero Arts, Flourish Background stamp on the eggs, and then white embossed them. The sentiment is hand written with an Artline pen and pop-dotted to give dimension. I also used my favourite white gel pen and corner rounding punch.
Also, I apologise for the ever changing blog background. It will be staying at this one for a while yet...
Thanks for looking... now it is bed time

  2. I love your card. We don't really celebrate Easter here either. Hubby and I hide chocolate eggs and such for the kids.
But I do decorate the house because I like the colours, more for a Spring thing then Easter
