Mercy's Sketch and Finally Friday Challenge

This week, I've been feeling a little "meh" about a lot of things, nothing was inspiring me, not even Two Peas finally Friday Video, the challenge this week was to create a happy birthday card or stamp on patterned paper. I only generally make birthday cards if I have some one to give them to, for upcoming birthdays etc. But then, I saw my blog buddy, Mercy's weekly sketch! I had to play... So, into my stash I went. At the moment, I'm trying to avoid cutting up new patterned papers, because I have so many that are partially cut into... So, I picked out some papers (see list below pic) and created a card. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Its hard to see in the photo, but I have distressed the bottom circle, using a new favourite toy, Heidi Swapp's Edge Distresser. Ok, now for the product list-

Patterned Papers- Cosmo Cricket, Earth Love, "Remember" and Girl Friday "Wednesday"
Card Stock - Kraft
Stamps - Daisy Bucket, Happy Birthday , Imaginesence, Cupcake
Inks - StazOn, Timber Brown and White Gel Pen
Ribbon- Twine (I bought a ball of it at the local discount store)
