The Greeting Farm - Rain, Snow, Shine

Hi again! Back this afternoon to share another circle card with you all! I made this one last night when I got home from my mum and dads house...
I had just received this stamp set in the mail, so pretty much had to get inky straight away! I used some scrap patterned paper for the background (top Stampin' Up!, bottom October Afternoon) and paper pieced her out fit in colours that matched the background papers. I coloured her hair, skin, shoes and glasses using my Spectrum Noirs, and fussy cut her out. I wrapped some ribbons around the background papers, mounted a die cut with a sentiment stamped on it, then attached my Anya with dimensional adhesives, before Glossy Accenting her glasses and adding some aqua bling.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the die cut/punches challenge for Farm Fresh Friday, next up is the Anyone for Anya? Summer challenge and last but not least, the Splitcoast Stampers TGFSC24 Sketch.

Magnolia circle friendship card

Hi again! I'm back with this weeks Feeling Sketchy card, we're well on our way to reaching 200 likers (and a giveaway) on our Facebook Page so pop on over and keep up to date with what the Sketchettes are doing!
Here is this weeks sketch, which once again I stressed over, but as soon as I sat down to create, I loved!
Circle cards aren't something I usually make, because I don't have any envelopes to fit them :P Silly excuse really! Here is my card -
I cut out a scallop circle out of white card and a regular circle from patterned paper (retired) from My Minds Eye, I think it was Quite Contrary range, although, I could be wrong.... I then set to colouring this Magnolia image with my Stampin' Write Markers and blender pen. She was actually really easy to colour! I tried a different colour combination for her hair too... Usually a blonde is So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and More Mustard, but, I wanted a softer, lighter blonde, so switched out the Mustard with Crumbcake. I love how her hair came out, as it either makes or breaks an image I've found! So, once she was all coloured up, I fussy cut her out, and focused on the sentiment circle, which is a Spellbinders Labels 10 cut out of white, sponged with Crumbcake. I went over Magnolias wings and the label with some tombow craft glue, and then while it was still wet, sprinkled a bunch of glitter over the top adding just a touch of sparkle to the card.
We'd love to see you over at the Feeling Sketchy blog, so why not drop round and play?
