Just Add Ink 134 and Clean and Simple 107

After being sick for two weeks, I have ventured back into my craftiness, with the previous post and then this one which is for my nan's birthday which is coming up! I used the Just Add Ink colour challenge, which was to use the colours below
This was a really tough colour challenge for me, and to be honest, probably not something I would use again, unless it was for a baby shower....
The other challenge I used was Clean & Simple card sketch 107

This sketch is something I will probably go back to and try again, because I'm not completely happy with how it turned out. Maybe when I receive my new Stampin' Up! stamps in the mail on Monday!

Did I mention, I don't like how this turned out? The butterfly is cut out 3 times and layered, in the pink, yellow and green, with the green layer being popped, to add dimension.
I'll have another look at it later and see if anything changes my mind about liking it.... until then.... it's here...

  2. I really like your card! It stands out in the CAS sketch thumbnails, and I think the layered butterfly is sweet. TFS!

  6. Never cease to amaze me how you can make it all work together, like in life... sometimes we just have to use what we have been given.
