Oh my gosh! I'm back! Some Odd Girl 2 Hearts Kody and Mae

Hi Hi Everyone! I know it has been a very long time since I've popped by. I have been creating, as well as working, and the big news is planning a wedding! Nick and I got engaged in June, 2015! It's been a total whirlwind of planning, and creating (a lot of DIY.) Anyway, because I've been so loved up, like this photo -

Valentine's Day cards have been on my mind! Here is one I created for a friend, to give to her new beau!
I used some patterned paper by My Minds Eye, and Lawn Fawn. The stamp is a Some Odd Girl digital stamp called 2 Hearts Kody & Mae and was coloured using a mix of Spectrum Noir markers and Copics. I've of course done a bunch of doodling, and finished it off with a wooden heart that has been coloured to match the papers (using copics)
Here's a close up for you -
Hopefully, I'm able to keep up with crafting, and blogging! Wish me luck!

Non-Traditional Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope your day is filled with love, whether it be from your significant other, kids, pets or even a little bit of spoiling yourself! I have a non-traditional Valentine's card to share today, one that will probably go to a friend...
For this card, I raided my stash of off cut papers, that were sitting in my "scrap" file. I grabbed the green and yellow and then decided on my stamp, which is from Kraftin' Kimmie. I stamped her, and coloured her, using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then, I built up the card. The yellow paper, is from Echo Park, and the Green is from Lawn Fawn, I used a piece of blue card stock behind the main image, and added some ribbon (from Spotlight) tied in a bow. The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the main image (I can't think of the name of it right now!)

Valentine's Card (last one, I swear!)

Hi guys! I really need to stop making Valentine's cards! But, I have got them all up in my Etsy and Madeit Stores, so pop over and take a gander ;)
Anyway, onto my card -
For this card, I stamped my image (Kraftin' Kimmie), and coloured it up to start, using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then doodled around the edges and grabbed a paper pad, from My Minds Eye, and cut, layered and doodled. I the stamped a sentiment, from My Favourite Things, and die-cut a gray doily to match the background paper (MFT Die-namics). For the embellishments, I grabbed my box of D-Lish Scraps flowers and grabbed a daisy, and rose, and of course, a star from Freckled Fawn (I'm obsessed with these at the moment) and some tiny rhinestones.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Clara Valentine's Day Card

I've been at the craft desk once again! I have a whole range of Valentine's cards up in store now! And, just for being a blog reader, you can get 20% off until Monday, just use coupon code BlogLove on checkout!
Here is the card I have to share today -
I actually started this card a couple of days ago, and it just wasn't working for me... I had coloured Clara (from Kraftin' Kimmie) three times before I was happy with her, then because it had taken so long, I wasn't happy with the papers, or the style for the card. So, left Clara on my desk, to come back to. I used a mix of really old My Minds Eye patterned paper and new Pink Paislee, doodled around the edges, wrapped some seam binding ribbon and some new pink satin ribbon, I picked up at Spotlight a week ago, and tide a big bow. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, and is the heart punchie.

Some Odd Girls - Valentines or Love Card

Heya!
I've got 15% off in store until the 31-12-13...!
Anyway, I have a card to share with you...
I figured now would be an awesome time to make a start on Valentine's Day cards.
These little penguins, are part of a Some Odd Girl stamp set, I had them stamped out, and coloured with my Spectrum Noir Markers since Christmas Eve. I then misplaced my awesome trimming scissors *cries*. I trimmed these guys out, then lost my craft mojo, so they sat on my desk. I decided they needed to go on a card yesterday. I went through my off cut box, and came up with theses three papers (My Minds Eye and Echo Park), and doodled around the edges. I die-cut a doily from My Favourite Things Die-Namics and layered everything together. The sentiment is from the same Some Odd Girl stamp set.

Some Odd Girl - Valentines Day Card

Hello! I realise I'm a tad early for Valentines, but I wanted to have a good stock of cards in my store, come mid January, so here is my first one!
I actually struggled a little with the design of this card, but I grabbed a Some Odd Girl stamp, Hey Kaylee, colouring her up, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, I then embossed some red card stock, and grabbed a piece of My Minds Eye patterned paper. I doodled around the edges of everything, and stamped my sentiment, which is a mix of The Alley Way Stamps, and the Hey Kaylee Sentiment.

Some Odd Girl Valentines Day Cards!

Hi Again!
I'm back sharing more Valentines Day Cards. They're being uploaded to my store right now!
Here is the first one
I started out stamping, and masking the little "north pole" from Winter Friends (SOG) and then coloured it in using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I embossed a bunch of hearts and snowflakes in clear/holographic embossing powder. The patterned paper is from Fancy Pants and was layered up using white card stock, and red cardstock. The sentiment is from Winter Friends, and I embossed more patterned paper, and cut out the U. Here is the close up.
I am entering this one into the Some Odd Girl January Sketch challenge
Next up is another Some Odd Girl card...
I stamped and coloured Romantic Gwen using Spectrum Noir Markers, in Ice Gray and the the rose in Pale Pinks. The patterned papers are from My Minds Eye and Kaisercraft. The scallops and sentiment are from two different Some Odd Girl stamp sets. I finished off this one with a touch of silver pen doodling. Here is the close up
I am entering this one in to the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge -

The Greeting Farm - Valentines Card

Hi guys! I crafted again!
I made the first of a few St. Valentine's day cards that will be popping up in my MadeIt.com.au store over the coming week or so... Here's the first one :)
I started by stamping this tall anya (the Greeting Farm) on blender card stock, and colouring her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. She was going to go on a very different card, but I couldn't make it work, so changed things up! I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye, and older collection (Miss Caroline, All dolled up) and cardstock in Chocolate Chip and White. The ribbon is thick grosgrain, and I have added some small embellishments using a small heart punch and some tiny silver rhinestones. The sentiment is one from Stampin' Up! Here is a close up, and you can see some glitter on the pink heart-
I am entering this into the Double Take Tuesday at The Greeting Farm, and also the January Challenge over at Stamp and Create.com

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Outlined Occasions and I create a cute Valentines Card

Hi guys! Today I spent the day in the craft room, cutting up card stock and tidying up my desk (again)I have a workshop this weekend, so needed to get prepared. Once all the card was cut down, I sat and crafted for a little while, and this is what I came up with
This is a Crumbcake card base, layered with some Whisper White, and some patterned paper I've had in my stash for a while and I'm getting down to the scraps :) (love Polka Dots!) and some Real Red card stock. I then sat and coloured my little girl from My Favourite Things. I stamped her a second time on some Regal Rose patterned paper, and cut out her top, added some shading and stuck it down. I added some beautiful Ivory Satin Center Band Ribbon and tied a bow. The sentiment is from the new Sale-a-bration set called Outlined Occasions.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Ribbon Carousel Paper Piecing challenge and secondly, the Colour Q colour challenge and finally, the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches
Thanks for dropping by!

Stampin' Up! I heart Hearts and I create a bright, fun Valentines Day Card

Hi guys, I'm on a bit of a Valentines Day kick at the moment, trying to get more stock in to my MadeIt store, as cards for Valentines Day are moving quickly! So, another card to share with you :)
This is a Pacific Point card base, which I have layered with Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo cardstock/patterned paper. I have also cut a border from Pacific Point, and layered it on top of the Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I have the cut some Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and tied a triple bow. The main image panel is mounted on Melon Mambo, and has three hearts stamped onto it, and then the Lucky Limeade one is popped using dimensionals. The sentiment is from My Favourite Things. I added three little rhinestones to finish off this card :)
I am entering this into 3 challenges, the first is Ribbon Carousel Non-Traditional colours challenge, next is the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, which I have turned on it's end, and I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp and Show Stamp a Song Title. I chose Lindsey Ray's You Make Me Happy it's not quite my sentiment, but just....

Stampin' Up! I heart Hearts and I create a Valentines Card

Hi guys, and to all my Aussie followers Happy Australia Day! I'm listening to the hottest 100 today, and relaxing around the house :) I feel like I've neglected my blog lately... but I do have something new to show you!
This is a Real Red card base, layered with Very Vanilla and Real Red Designer Series Paper (Brights Stack) and some lovely Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso and the hearts in Early Espresso and Real Red. The circle and hearts have been attached using dimensionals :) A fairly simple Valentines Card.
I am entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge :)

Sale-a-bration Everyday Enchantment and I create Valentines Day Cards

Ok, so Sale-a-bration is just under an hour away (excited?) And I wanted to share one more sneak peek before it goes live! Check back after midnight Australian EST to have a gander at the range of products you can get for FREE! I have used the beautiful new Designer Series Paper- Everyday Enchantment on both these cards...
This one uses some of my favourite things! It features a soft colour palette, watercolouring, tone on tone stamping, seam binding ribbon, and of course pretty patterned paper *swoon* I took my colours for the adorable The Greeting Farm girl from the patterned papers, and then built the card around her. I did quite a bit of sponging on this card, and tied a bow from the Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon. Love the co-ordination!
This card is fairly basic with a big wow factore. I have used stamps from Vintage Vogue and French Foliage on the bold coloured pieces, and sponged the edges. The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo (I believe) and makes me smile every time. I really wanted to make the patterned paper the star of this card, as the pattern is oh so pretty! I'm loving this colour combo too, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.
Thanks for dropping around, come back in a little while to see the Sale-a-bration catalogue, with the goodies you can receive Free after a $100 purchase!
