Stampin' Up! Artistic Etchings paired with Upsy Daisy and I create a Thinking of You card.

Evening! I crafted last night after going to my little sisters house to celebrate her birthday (she's not so little any more, at 20....) It was a lot of fun, and I came home a little tipsy and with some inspiration... Here is the card I made
This is a Crumbcake card base which has a piece of Blushing Bride which I have run through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Once it was embossed, I swiped some white ink over the top to make it stand out. I then embossed a piece of Crumbcake using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, and it too got the white ink treatment. I stamped the Eiffel Tower from Artistic Etchings in Crumbcake and the sentiment from Upsy Daisy in Basic Grey, I then sponged Crumbcake along the edges and mounted it on Blushing Bride and some scallop border punched Basic Grey. To finish this card off with a piece of pink ribbon that was in my stash.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Inkspirations Sketch challenge (below) and The Lollipop Ladies Embossed Cupcake challenge, I used the colours and embossing as my inspiration.
Thanks for dropping by :)

Stampin' Up! Medallion and I create Thinking of You Cards

Just a quick post from me, I am keeping busy, out of the cold and rain, dreaming of sunshine....
This card is fairly basic, a Whisper White base, with a border drawn with my Stampin' Write Markers, a sentiment from KaiserCraft. The yellow is Daffodil Delight (such a summery colour) which I have mounted another piece of Whisper White on, I have stamped and embossed the medallion stamp is Black embossing Powder.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger (see below), the second is the Play Date Cafe Colour Splash, and the final one is a new one for me... Wee Memories CAS card challenge.
I'm going to try to convince Mark we need to go to the art store....
Until next time....

Stampin' Up! Trendy Trees - Thinking of You Card

Hi all!
I made this card this morning, but thought I'd spread my posts out a little bit, so you're not bombarded with posts....
I made this card to add to my growing collection of cards for the Newcastle Show which is coming up in 2 weeks! I used a couple of challenges to get my mojo started.... The first was the Curtain Call Colour Challenge, once again a tricky colour combo! I wasn't going to add the little bit of green in my chalking, but I needed to 'ground' my trees, so they got grass.... The second challenge I am entering this into is the Less is More challenge, which this week is a recipe challenge, to use 3 squares.
This card is currently sitting on my computer desk, with me humming and haaing about whether I like it... what are your thoughts?

Stampin' Up! Growing Green isn't just for watercolouring

Growing Green is one of the stamp sets I inadvertently grab for when I need to watercolour (I find it so calming...) And, I admit, I don't actually do a whole lot else with it... so, when I saw the challenge colours over at The Play Date Cafe, it wasn't the first set I reached for....
I have actually cased myself on this card. I needed more cards for the Mothers Day card drive for the Troops... I also need to be able to mass produce them... this worked, I can get a lot of little squares out of an A4 piece of card.... and if I stamp and heat emboss in large quantities, it makes it even easier.... just saying... hehe...The challenge colours for The Play Date Cafe are as follows
Thanks for looking, and happy stamping!
