Stampin' Up Sweet Stitches and Tiny Tags make a Chocolate Card

I am so super excited about this post, as it is my first as a Guest Designer over at Just Add Ink. I was so stoked to be chosen as one of their guest designers, and I am happy to share this experience with you guys! This weeks challenge is Just Add - Tearing, Ripping, Distressing. So, here is my take on the challenge

So, this is my chocolate block card... I have used a piece of Chocolate Chip card which I have sponged to make pieces using Chocolate Chip ink and a who wad of post it notes. Once I had finished the block, I wrapped a little bit of foil around the bottom and some Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper (retired) I placed some Daffodil Delight ribbon around as well as a button sewn on with two little tags from Tiny Tags Stamp set and coordinating punch. A little bit of tearing at the top of the foil and DSP and some sponging and the block was placed on a piece of Whisper White card.
Thanks for dropping by, don't forget to head over to the Just Add Ink blog, and have a look what the other designers have made.
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sew Suite and I create a Thank You Card

Hi again! I have the day off, but instead of studying for my exam, like I'm supposed to be, I headed in to the craft room armed with a list of challenges I wanted to enter..... Here is my first card
This was a stamp set I craved when I saw it in the sneak peeks that Stampin' Up! demonstrators get, so when it was made available, I snaffled it up... Only problem is, I find it hard to work with... I don't know about you guys.... If any of you have some awesome samples for this stamp set, I'd love to see them... Ok, now on to the details... A Tempting Turquoise base which has had a sentiment from Vintage Vogue stamped in the lower left corner, which has been layered with an embossed (Tulip border) Whisper White piece. On top of this, we have a piece of Daffodil Delight Ribbon and some Melon Mambo card. I have stamped and coloured three images from Sew Suite and cut a button card from the matching designer series paper (Sweet Stitches) I have popped them onto the Melon Mambo, and clustered them together. I have added some dimension by popping the pin cushion with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I am entering this into a few challenges, the first being Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge (see sketch below), also the Create, Ink Colour Challenge, the Just Add Ink Just add Colouring Challenge and Inspiration from Moxie Fab World, Tuesday Trigger (see below)
Ok, so that's one card, I will be back in a while to show you my second card for today...
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sew Suite, and Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper (DSP) make cute Thank You cards

I felt the need to craft this evening, with a long weekend coming up, and 4 out of the 5 days off of work, I know I'm going to be spending a bit more time in the craft room (which needs tidying up!) I created one card to share with you tonight, and as soon as I'm done posting, I will be heading to bed....
One of my must have sets from Stampin' Up!'s Winter Mini Catalogue, was the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Sew Suite stamp set! With a mum as talented as mine when it comes to sewing, how could I not? This little card uses both these wonderful products! I used my wonderful Circle Scissors to cut the circle which I have then stamped the 'spool' image on using the masking technique, and coloured with my Stampin' Write Markers. The Designer Series Paper has been sitting on my desk, a little lonesome, begging to be used, so when I saw the challenge over at Inkspirations, this week, which is to use Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White and Sahara Sand, I knew that there was a piece of DSP in this set ready to use! I have also paired this with the Mojo Monday sketch.
