Kraftin' Kimmie - Book Worm Card

I have a confession to make... I am a  massive book nerd... I always have a book on the go... recently, I converted to a kindle, and oh my gosh... best invention ever! I love being able to carry 1000 page books without ruining my handbag... haha. I do have a card to share today, which totally reminds me of me....

This little chicky is named Lucy.... I love her epic big hair (yup, my hair totally looks like this!) I coloured her in with my Spectrum Noir Markers, then I fussy cut her out and set her aside while I made my card.
I used a really old, retired piece of patterned paper from October Afternoon. It's been in my stash for maybe 3yrs... I actually had it in the pile of stuff to giveaway, then thought I'd dig it out again! I also grabbed some chevron patterned paper from Sn@p 24/7 paper pad, everything was mounted onto Sahara Sand card stock, and doodled around the edges. The sentiment, and the speech bubble are from the sn@p sticker set that matches the 24/7 paper. I added a strip of red ribbon, and a metal swirl paper clip and called this card done...
